Gordon Takes A Tumble is the 17th episode of the 6th Season.
Summary[]
Gordon is extremely cross when Sir Topham Hatt says he must pull freight cars, he wants to show Salty how an express engine pulls them. Next morning the signalman accidently left the points in the wrong direction and Gordon is diverted onto the branch line which can't hold his weight unless he goes slow. Gordon crashes into a field. Sir Topham Hatt is very cross with Gordon. When Gordon puffs back to the docks, james tells Gordon Salty is sorry and Gordon eagerly accepts his apoligy.
